ARC

The goal of the Meadow Park Architecture Review Committee is to ensure any add-on structures or modifications to existing structures that are made within the neighborhood

"have been approved as to conformity with the Restrictions, quality, materials and as to conformity and harmony of external design with existing (and approved or proposed) structures in the Subdivision, and as to location of the structure with respect to topography and finished ground elevation" (Declarations of Covenants and Restrictions, Article II, Section A)

If you are planning an addition or modification of an existing structure you must fill out the Architectural Committee Approval form which can be obtained here.  Any plan/request to the ARC must be "approved" or "not approved" by the committee within 10 business days.  If the committee does not respond to the plan/request within 10 business days the plan/request is automatically "approved" by default.

The following are examples of items requiring pre-approval by the ARC:
  • Painting/Staining of the exterior house, trim, garage door, fence
  • Additions to the home
  • Fence addition or replacement
  • Arbors
  • Storage shed construction (including prefabricated)
  • Driveway or walkway replacements or additions
  • Swimming pools or hot tubs
  • Roof repair/replacements

Depending on the changes/improvements/additions being performed, permits, inspections, and/or approvals by the City of Grapevine may be required (call the City of Grapevine at 817-410-3165 for more information).
